Dr. Cheng Wang
I am the group leader of RoboSafe. Our vision is to provide safe and trustworthy robots and autonomous systems for a better life.
Yizhuo Xiao
I am a PhD candidate at the RoboSafe Lab. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Beijing Institute of Technology and my master’s degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt. My research focuses on reinforcement learning, path planning, and generative artificial intelligence (GAI). Currently, I am working on applying diffusion models and GAI to scenario generation for autonomous driving.
Lingxin Kong
I am a postgraduate student in Control Science and Engineering at Shanxi University. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from North China Electric Power University (Baoding) in 2021. My research focuses on reinforcement learning, autonomous driving decision-making, and robotic motion and task planning. Currently, I am a visiting student at the RobotSafe Lab, working on inverse reinforcement learning and autonomous driving.
Lin Shi
I am a postgraduate student at University of Michigan and collaborating with RoboSafe for scenario generation using GAI.
Kexuan Xia
I am a postgraduate student at TU Darmstadt and write my master thesis about “Development of a Methodology for Heat-Map-Generation of Multimodal Object Detection”. I obtained my bachelor degree at Tongji University.
Wei Li
I am a postgraduate student at Tongji University and collaborating with RoboSafe for End-to-End Autonomous Driving.
Karthik Roshan Katikala
I am a postgraduate student in robotics and writing my master thesis about “Operational Design Domain Definition and Scenario Derivation for Autonomous Vehicles in Campus”.
